The Principality of Zeon is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 0079, Zeon Lieutenant Commander Char Aznable leads a raid on the space colony Side 7. There, he discovers that the Earth Federation’s new weapon, the RX-78-2 Gundam, is abandoned. He then decides to steal it for himself, setting in motion a domino effect that forever changes history as we know it. Five years later, on the independent colony Side 6, a young Newtype finds herself drawn into the search for the missing RX-78-2 Gundam. Before long, events conspire to put her in the pilot’s seat of the new prototype Gundam GQuuuuuuX and enter underground mobile suit fighting competitions. Surrounded by new friends, she attempts to understand her strange powers and find her place in the world by dreaming of skies where she can fly free.
